Bladeslinger od niedawna jest dostępny na iOS, a przed kilkoma dniami trafił też i na Androida. Gra jest połączeniem Dzikiego Zachodu z klimatami szeroko pojętego steampunku i nutką mistycznego fantasy. Brzmi jak mieszanka wybuchowa? W gruncie rzeczy te elementy zostały dobrze spasowane i naprawdę trudno odnieść wrażenie, że jakaś cząstka przedstawionych realiów zupełnie nie pasuje do reszty.
Podczas rozgrywki wcielimy się w Williama Glastona, śmiałka kreowanego trochę na wzór gładkolicych herosów, których oblicze przyprawia niewiasty o bezsenność. Z mojej perspektywy jest on jednak postacią słabo zarysowaną i nudną. Właściwie jedynym jego atutem jest wygląd (a i tutaj niektórzy będą mieli wątpliwości, bo trochę przypomina włoskiego lowelasa) Fabuła szczególnie nie porywa – naszym zadaniem jest powrót do rodzinnego miasteczka Hammer’s Peak. Oczywiście sprawy musiały się skomplikować i po drodze natkniemy się na różnego rodzaju kreatury, które tak naprawdę są zmutowanymi mieszkańcami. Remedium na nie będą podręczne gadżety Glastona – rewolwer, miecz oraz mechaniczne ramię. Do tego dochodzi szeroka gama przedmiotów, magicznych kart oraz mikstur, które ułatwią nam eksterminację. Jak nietrudno się domyślić, będziemy mogli je kupować za zdobyte na potworach (lub kupione za realne pieniądze) złoto. Na szczęście twórcy nie położyli dużego nacisku na ten element i można radzić sobie bez dodatkowych kosztów (nie licząc zakupu samej gry, rzecz jasna), choć będzie to trudniejsze. Niemniej trzeba zaznaczyć, że dodatkowe ulepszenia są bardzo drogie, więc jeżeli już zdecydujemy się na mikropłatności, to nasz portfel może to poczuć.
